New Balance's 1906R Protection Pack is given a tonal Metallic Silver Metallic upper constructed out of a combination of mesh and leather. Being that this is a “Protection Pack” iteration of the model is highlighted by the brand’s signature unfinished and uncut style that’s evident throughout the upper. Design details include the signature “N” logos on the sides integrated into the NLock system, 1906D branding on the lateral side, and a comfortable EVA midsole atop a rubber outsole. The reflective trim all around the upper adds a unique touch to this already much-in-demand release.
